More weird beauty tips and tricks!

Today’s wacky – and sometimes humorous – beauty tricks. Some of these are just too weird not to work. As always, use your own discretion and at your own risk. :)

Beer isn’t just for breakfast anymore

Beer can clean up your locks and make them healthy and shiny. I know you’ve heard about it… but have you TRIED it? Before you wash your hair, pour some FLAT beer over it. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so and shampoo/condition as usual. If you have dry hair/scalp (common in the winter when the humidity is low), rinse out the beer and work some olive oil into your hair and scalp, then shampoo thoroughly and condition.

Toilet seat covers are your friend

If your skin is oily and you’re on a bathroom break at a restaurant, toilet seat covers work beautifully as blotting papers for oily skin. While you’re taking care of business, use the center part that you ripped out to blot oily areas on your face. Then flush. :)

Lipstick lollipop

Tired of having lipstick on your teeth? After applying your lipstick, stick your finger in your mouth, close your lips around it and pull your finger out like you’re pulling out a lollipop. It’ll wipe off the excess that would end up on your pearly whites. Just make sure your hands are clean.

Smell like a pickle and look gorgeous

Try apple cider vinegar as a face-wash. Dilute 1 part vinegar to 2-4 parts water (depending on the sensitivity of your skin). It helps remove dead skin cells and rejuvenates your glow! Wash your face normally afterward, so you don’t smell like a pickle.

Bag ’em!

To have the softest hands and feet you’ve ever experienced, message in some Bag Balm just before bed, then wear gloves or socks (respectively). Bag Balm contains lanolin… it’s similar to the medications women have used for years to avoid chapped skin while breastfeeding. You can find Bag Balm just about anywhere… it comes in a little green tin.

Are you getting $25 – $70 checks every couple of weeks for being opinionated? I am! :)

I’ve been a member of SurveySavvy for years now. It’s free to join, unlike some survey places. You GET PAID to give your opinion… usually anywhere from $1 up to $30 per survey. You can refer your friends, and get paid when they take surveys (great for those of you with tons of Facebook friends.) AND you get paid when THEIR friends take surveys.

I like SurveySavvy because there’s no gimmicks, they’ve never released my personal information, and I can cash out my account whenever I like.
